Black Friday Haul!!

Hi guys!! How are you? I am SUPER excited to be writing this post as it is my first one EVER from this new blog. I would love to tell you why I deleted the previous one and started this but that would be in another post on another day. This one I want to dedicate to what I bought on the Black Friday Sale.

So previously, I was not majorly excited about the sale because I did not have anything in particular in mind to buy really but there were a few bits and pieces that I wanted to get and it is obviously a good option to buy them from sale. I ALWAYS preach to buy things from sale as those of you who have been reading my blog may already know. So, I thought of giving it a go and planned to go to the market with my sister. In this post, I'm going to show you every single item that I bought on the sale and give you a little bit of a review about them as well.

1. Jeans

So the first thing that I got was this pair of dark grey jeans from Levi's and OMG !! these are a complete DREAM. I love everything about them. I have actually been looking for some nice, blue cropped jeans but I have not been able to find one so far. So when I went into the shop and immediately asked for those but the salesman there told me that unfortunately they didn't have any at the moment and showed some other ones instead. By the way, that salesman was a very nice and helpful guy and he showed me loads of other options and was just being a very nice person which, I think, helps a lot when you are shopping. Anyway, I saw this pair of jeans and decided to get it instantly. I love its colour. Grey is just my favourite. The fabric quality is just AMAZING. I have definitely never owned a better quality jeans before. It fits really nicely as well which is a huge bonus; I hate ill-fitted clothes. Another thing that I absolutely love about it is that it is high-waisted so it makes you look really good and it's very comfortable as well. I'm very glad to have invested in these because I honestly think that I will wear them on daily basis for years to come.

2. Italian Summer Fig Body Cream:

I suffer from the driest skin in winters. To be honest I have dry skin throughout the year but it gets the worst during the winter months and I have to constantly apply lotion again and again all over my body which is just sooo frustrating. This is the reason I am always on a hunt for a good moisturiser not only for my face but for the rest of my body as well. So, a few weeks back I went to the The Body Shop, because they are known for their good skin care products, to look for a good moisturiser and got one of their body butters. And believe me when I say I was NOT DISAPPOINTED. It was just soo good. I used it regularly and could see my skin being benefited by it right before my eyes. My skin felt so nice and soft after I started using it and I was really satisfied with the results. All of you who suffer from dry, flaky skin like me should DEFINITELY check this product out. So as I was hugely impressed with their product, I decided to visit their outlet again to buy some more of their skincare as everything was on sale! So this is the body cream that I got and it is just as good as the body butter and I use both of these alternately. Its consistency is a little less thicker than the body butter but it is still very moisturising.

3. Born Lippy lip balm:

As I have previously mentioned I have extremely dry skin so I have cracked lips almost all the time. I just hate having cracked lips. These days I have to travel a lot and I seriously cannot be bothered to pack a huge jar of petroleum jelly with me. So I wanted to have a tiny, little pot of lip balm that is easy to carry with you at all times and is of good quality as well. I'm saying good quality because I have come across many rubbish-quality lip balms that just sit on your lips and make them all gross and sticky while never actually moisturising them. So when I saw this cute little pot at The Body Shop, I instantly went for it. I'm happy that I did because it actually is really good and does what it is supposed to be doing.

4. Vitamin E Eye-cream:

The next thing I bought from The Body Shop was this eye-cream because I wanted to see what it does for my dark circles. I have been using it ever since but I don't really know whether it is doing anything to my eye circles or not. So I can't really give you a review of it at the moment but I'll let you guys know if it ever performs a miracle.

After buying these three things I managed to force myself to finally leave The Body Shop.

5. Mascara:

So my next stop was Al-Fateh (did I mention I was shopping at Centaurus Islamabad?). There I went to their make-up section and got Maybelline's the Colossal Volume Express Mascara because I had run out of it. It is a decent mascara as you probably already know and a lot of you might even already own it as well.

6. Tiny Hand Mirror:

I'm so happy to be showing you this super cute mirror! I mean, is this not the most adorable little mirror that you have ever seen in your entire life?!! it is just so PRETTY!! So I got this one for myself and my sister and I simply love it!

7. Tights:

I then went to Leisure Club and got two black tights because you simply cannot live without them (or at least I can't). Whenever there is sale I tend to buy things that would last me a really good time. Tights are one of those things that you can't really go wrong with. It is good to have a lot of them and in as many colours as possible!! But black is an obvious essential so I just got two of because I knew that I'll be definitely be using them loads this winter.

So guys! this is pretty much everything that I got from the sale. I bought some gifts for my friends as well but I don'tt feel like sharing them here. I also got some chocolates as well which I most definitely shown you but I have already savoured them and thrown away the wrappers, haha!

That is all for today! I feel so good writing this post I can't even tell you guys. I missed blogging so frigging much but I am definitely back :) I sincerely hope that you have enjoyed reading this post. I'll see you guys soon with another post :)
